Renowned IAS coaching center owner and motivational speaker Vikas Divyakirti frequently finds himself in the spotlight due to his candid opinions. Known for offering success tips and tricks to students preparing for competitive exams, Divyakirti’s recent interview with news agency ANI has created a stir.

In this interview, he openly shared his views on trending national issues, particularly on trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar and the reservation system in India, leaving many surprised by his bold statements.

Discussing Pooja Khedkar

During the interview, Divyakirti touched upon various political and controversial topics. When the host mentioned Pooja Khedkar and brought up the issue of reservations, Divyakirti remarked, “It’s true that the reservation system in our country has many loopholes. I’m not questioning the government’s intentions, but I don’t understand how they operate.”

Critique of Reservation Policies

Expanding on this, Divyakirti humorously noted, “I tell my students that our government is very cute. These cute people have turned your policies into a joke.” He believes that no more than 10-20% of those benefiting from reservations are genuinely deserving. He added, “Our society still doesn’t understand the true values of democracy. Our system is democratic, but our thinking is monarchical.”

Comments on Yogi Adityanath and Rahul Gandhi

In the same interview, Divyakirti also spoke about Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

He made a significant prediction about their political futures, stating that both could be seen as Prime Ministerial candidates in the coming years.

Future Prime Ministerial Candidates

Divyakirti commented, “I have decent expectations from Rahul Gandhi now. He’s still very young, as is Yogi Adityanath. However, 10-15 years from now, we will see them both as Prime Ministerial contenders.”

Political analysts believe that Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra has strengthened his image, while Yogi Adityanath’s leadership in Uttar Pradesh since 2017 has bolstered his Hindutva image, making him a prominent figure in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Addressing NEET Paper Leak

In addition to political commentary, Divyakirti addressed the issue of the NEET paper leak, criticizing the government’s handling of the situation.

He stated, “A country that can conduct Lok Sabha elections with 970 million voters peacefully cannot accept discrepancies in an exam with 2.3 million students. The paper leak issue arises not from a lack of facilities but from the negligence of the government and institutions like the NTA.”

Solutions for Exam Integrity

Divyakirti highlighted that private centers are often the hubs for paper leaks and exam malpractices. He mentioned the recent decision by the UP government under CM Yogi Adityanath to hold exams only in government centers to prevent cheating. He suggested that this move could be a step towards ensuring the integrity of exams.

Conclusion

Dr. Vikas Divyakirti’s interview has sparked considerable debate due to his forthright opinions on reservation policies, political futures, and exam integrity.

His comments reflect a critical view of the current systems and a call for reforms to ensure fairness and accountability. As a prominent educator and motivational speaker, Divyakirti’s insights continue to influence and inspire many aspiring civil servants across the country.
